Hi John,

The only free cruise I know of are the type that are used to promote vacation shares. I once went to the Bahamas on one of these day cruises, but it wasn't worth it. Once there, I had to sit through a presentation and even when I went to the beach in the water waist deep, I was approached by sales people. I wouldn't do it again.

information on free cruise

MsK - Different cruise lines have different fees and surcharges. Taxes and port charges are mandatory, and other fees to watch out for include duty charges on souvenirs you purchase as well as items such as alcohol, specialty dining, and spa treatments that are not included in the cruise fare. Prices will vary, but you can check out Cruise Price Inclusions for some ideas of what to expect.

Are there any other fee's (besides the tax and port charges) attached to this 2 day cruise and if so how much are they?

Richard - We are not an agent of Imperial Majesty Cruise Line, and we do not have activation codes or other special offers for any cruise line or vacation package. You will need to contact the line directly to inquire about the offer you received.

Karenk - You can try the official website to see if they offer current pictures of the ship and facilities. One thing to remember about cruise reviews, however, is that far more people are willing to write about negative experiences rather than positive ones, and I'm sure there are plenty of passengers who have thoroughly enjoyed their vacations as well.

I'd like to see a picture of the ship, and inside the smaller staterooms and surrounding areas...but nothing is available to view. I've already booked passage and want to see some details, especially after reading some of the not-so-nice reviews, such as the "6 foot puddle called a pool". Could someone please let me know how to do this?

Hi Pat, It's difficult to say what the 'catch' might be without seeing the offer. Sometimes cruise lines partner with airlines, restaurants, or transportation services to offer package deals, or ask you to purchase additional travel services in order to receive the special deal. We are not affiliated with Imperial Majesty, so I would suggest contacting the company directly and asking if there are any qualifications for the promotion and airfare prices for the dates in questions. Best of luck.

I received a letter in the mail offering a free 2-night Carribbean Cruise. What's the catch? What will it cost me from my home in Spokane, WA to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, the cruise and any food, drinks, etc.? Please answer ASAP. Thanks

Lonnie - Some companies offer deals like this in exchange for buying in to time share programs or attending extensive sales presentations for different properties. While the offers are usually legitimate, you should carefully read all the fine print and restrictions to see if you want to follow up on it. You may need to purchase other vacations to qualify for the cruise, or you may need to commit to spending a significant amount of time in high-pressure sales presentations in order to qualify for the free cruise.

I just recieved a letter in the mail stating that I have been identified to receive a free two night caribbean cruise for two adults. Before I invest any time on this I would like to know if this is real or fake, meaning whats hidden between the lines. Universal Orlando sent me this letter and I need to know the validity of it, can you help me?
