Bud Light Party Cruise

From LoveToKnow Cruises

For a fantastic and outrageous vacation, the Bud Light Party Cruise can’t be beat. This special getaway is a promotional event sponsored by Budweiser, and it is the hottest cruise vacation in 2008.

Set sail for the Bahamas with Bud Light!

About the Bud Light Party Cruise

This party cruise is a corporate sponsored vacation, and Budweiser has chartered two Royal Caribbean Cruises for three nights of outrageous cruise action, including a visit to Nassau in the Bahamas as well as a private island. A grand total of 4,600 passengers will be able to take advantage of the incredible sponsored rate of only $348 for two passengers based on double occupancy in each cruise ship cabin. Because the price also includes airfare, it is an especially great deal.

Not only is this a cruise sure to have plenty of Bud Light on board, but there is also a scheduled VIP music concert with a popular artist (yet to be announced as of this writing). Other cruise activities will also be offered, and passengers will be able to take advantage of numerous cruise shore excursions in Nassau, such as snorkeling, cultural tours, party boats, and more. As an added bonus, the ships will depart on October 31, 2008, adding the fun and fantasy of Halloween to the onboard itinerary. Passengers are encouraged to bring costumes to celebrate this fabulous weekend cruise.

Getting On Board

Unlike most cruise reservations, it is only possible to get on board the Bud Light cruise through invitations or contests. An online contest was run to choose many passengers, and many more have opportunities to win their chance to set sail through local contests. Radio stations, bars, clubs, and restaurants are all establishing their own contests and sweepstakes to choose more passengers to invite, and some are also giving away free passage on the cruise. All the contest requirements vary, however, and may include physical competitions, drawings, trivia, and other ways to win.

Passengers

All passengers for the party cruise must be at least 21 years of age, and winners can be found all over the country, from Pennsylvania to California and from Kansas to Utah. Passengers must provide proper documentation, including passports, to board the cruise ships.

Plan Your Own Party Cruise

The contest period for the Bud Light Party Cruise began in mid-March and ends September 3, which is the registration deadline for all invited passengers. If you aren’t lucky enough to win your way on board, however, you can still plan your own party cruise to enjoy Bud Light or any type of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage.

First, choose a cruise itinerary that suits your vacation options and personal interests. Weekend cruises are especially popular, particularly for quick getaways. Next, choose the best cruise ship for your personality – Carnival cruise ships are always popular because of their Fun Ship atmosphere and numerous activities, but Royal Caribbean Cruises and other cruise lines can be equally enjoyable.

Consider shopping for discount cruises or choosing an interior stateroom to keep the cruise fare low and save your money for the inevitable bar tab. On most cruise lines, gratuity charges are automatically added to ordered drinks, and multiple drinks can become expensive as they add up.

Always drink responsibly.

When you pack for your personal party cruise, remember to bring formal attire for the cruise ship formal night if desired. Also plan on leaving extra room in your luggage to bring home exotic rums, flavored vodka, and other liquor that cannot be purchased in the United States, as well as familiar brands at the duty-free prices offered on board.

Drink Responsibly

Whether you are participating in the Bud Light Party Cruise or you are planning your own party boat getaway, always drink responsibly and practice safe behavior on board the ship as well as when visiting different ports of call. With a little caution, a party cruise can create great memories and stories to share whenever you visit a bar, whether or not it is on a cruise ship.
